                                  Carole Landis <3 1940’s:

I've really loved being able to share my love of the 40's with all you guys, and was very glad to find out that I am not alone:)
Now, encouraged by that thought, I can promise you that this isn't the last 40's oriented post you will see on this blog - At the very least there will be lots of movie reviews when I get around to watch all the movies you recommended.

But OH! Looking back at your kick-off post, I realized that I had forgotten that my post should have been one of the challenge posts you listed! I completely forgot about that and I am very sorry. :( I guess it still "works" because you listed my post, but I'm sorry all the same. :/

It was such a lovely week, though, and I can't wait to finish reading your posts. :) Thank you again!!!

  9. ROSE!
Sorry I wasn't able to comment during the actual 40s week, but I have to say--I read all of your posts and I enjoyed them all very much! Surprisingly enough, you almost won me over to change from a 50s girl to a 40s girl like you. Almost, being the word. :D I escaped with my 50s favorites but not by much. Haha!
Thanks for all the work you put it!! It was so much fun to read!!

And I almost won you over? Impressive!
But don't count yourself safe - it took me a couple of months to become a complete 40's girl, so it can happen to you yet;)
